Calling the historic Manchester Biscuit Company building home since the 1960's, Raven Industries saw the need to repurpose this structure for their business - using it to also attract and retain top talent in Sioux Falls.
Raven Industries is an international leader in precision agriculture applications, specialty films, aerostats, and electronic manufacturing. As the company has grown, manufacturing has been moved off-site to create an opportunity to reposition this building for use as office space while exploring strengthened connections to the surrounding site. This effort is consistent with other City initiatives to revitalize Downtown Sioux Falls.
The project included a complete re-imagination of this under-utilized site located adjacent to the recently developed Downtown River Greenway. Confluence led the planning and design of all site improvements, including collaboration with the building project architect and City representatives. The results include an outdoor space that fosters creativity, connection and collaboration between employees, the public and the revitalized riverfront environment.
