Transit and Transportation

Our world is becoming more connected every day, and transit and transportation corridors play an integral role in connecting people and places.

Strong transit and transportation systems have a significant impact on the quality of life within each community. By utilizing strategic urban design and planning approaches, these facilities can provide an opportunity to reinforce each community’s civic identity. When properly conceived and implemented, these facilities have the potential to become building blocks for attracting future private development and investment.  We believe this linkage is a critical component to fully leveraging a community’s investment in these facilities.

Confluence is experienced in providing urban design, corridor aesthetic recommendations and transportation enhancement services for a broad range of transit and transportation facilities.  Our staff has extensive experience in the design of bus and streetcar stations, park-and-ride facilities, complete street transportation infrastructure enhancements, and system-wide implementation of bus rapid transit and light rail.
